Pictured is Alan Gilbert, one of our supported riders who is currently
having a very successful eventing season riding Carahue Diamond
(Bruno) a seven year old Irish bred gelding owned by Mr Ronnie Bartlett.

The combination began the season winning a pre-novice section at Scone Palace horse trials before upgrading to novice level. Since moving to novice in July the pair have accumulated 21 eventing points by winning 3 out of there last 4 events. Alan now hopes to run Bruno in an intermediate competition before he gets a well earned rest and preparation begins for 2006

The picture shows Bruno and Alan on there way to a win at Auchinleck horse trials this year.

      Ryan Haynes from Carluke,

At the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead, 14-year-old Ryan Haynes from Carluke, riding the nine-year-old Rockin Robin III won the winter Grade C Championship. .

At Hickstead, 19 of the countries best JC grade ponies lined up for the early morning start. Ryan and Robin were 10th to go and jumped clear, joining five others in the jump off. Jumping Off in the same order, Ryan was third to go and went into the lead recording a clear in 44.68, and when the next two ponies faulted the title was his.

This season Ryan has also won the Scottish JC Championship at Ayr Show, were runners up in the JC at the Royal Highland Show and were placed in the 148cm Championship.
